Terms & Cancellation

Booking & Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only after you receive a booking confirmation from HEADING NORTH. Please provide accurate contact information, the number of guests, your preferred date and any relevant information when making your booking.

Please check your booking details carefully after receiving confirmation and contact us as soon as possible if any information needs to be corrected.

Payment & Prices

All prices displayed on the HEADING NORTH website are in euros (€) and include applicable taxes. The displayed price is the price for the experience unless otherwise stated.

Any services, entrance tickets, meals, activities or other costs that are not specifically stated as included in the experience are the responsibility of the guest.

Cancellation & Refunds

Guests may cancel their booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled starting time of the experience. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled starting time, or failure to attend the experience, are non-refundable.

To cancel or request a change to your booking, please contact HEADING NORTH as soon as possible using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation.

If HEADING NORTH has to cancel an experience, guests will be offered an alternative date where possible or a refund of the amount paid directly to HEADING NORTH.

Weather & Natural Conditions

HEADING NORTH experiences take place in Arctic conditions, and weather, road, snow and trail conditions can change quickly. For safety or operational reasons, the route, schedule, viewing location or planned stops may be changed when necessary.

The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and sightings cannot be guaranteed. A tour is not considered unsuccessful solely because the Northern Lights are not visible.

If weather or other conditions make an experience unsafe to operate, HEADING NORTH may cancel or reschedule the experience. In such cases, guests will be offered an alternative date where possible or a refund of the amount paid directly to HEADING NORTH.

Guest Responsibilities & Safety

Guests are responsible for following the guide’s safety instructions throughout the experience and for behaving in a way that does not endanger themselves, other guests or the guide.

Guests should wear clothing and footwear suitable for the weather and the activity. Some experiences, particularly Korouoma, require good physical fitness and involve walking on snowy, icy and uneven terrain. Guests are responsible for informing HEADING NORTH in advance about any relevant mobility limitations, health considerations or other circumstances that may affect their safe participation.

HEADING NORTH may modify or stop an activity if continuing would create an unreasonable safety risk.

Late Arrivals & No-Shows

Guests should be ready at the confirmed pickup or meeting point at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.

If you expect to be late, please contact HEADING NORTH as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate delays where possible, but waiting cannot be guaranteed if it would significantly affect the experience or other guests.

Failure to arrive at the confirmed pickup or meeting point without prior notice may be treated as a no-show. No-shows are non-refundable.

Changes to Experiences

The itinerary, route, schedule, stops and duration shown on our website are approximate and may change due to weather, road, trail, safety or other operational conditions.

HEADING NORTH may make reasonable changes to an experience when necessary to provide the service safely and appropriately. We will inform guests of significant changes whenever reasonably possible.

Food, Allergies & Dietary Requirements

Some HEADING NORTH experiences may include food or drinks as specifically stated in the experience description. Guests must inform us in advance about any allergies, dietary requirements or other food-related restrictions.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requirements when notified in advance, but alternative options cannot always be guaranteed.

Third-Party Bookings

If an experience is booked through a third-party booking platform, the payment, cancellation, refund and booking conditions of that platform may also apply. Please refer to the terms provided by the booking platform when making your reservation.

For bookings made directly with HEADING NORTH, the terms and cancellation conditions stated on this website apply.
